What's up Ms. Llewelly this is Alrich Bullard. I just wanted to holla at ya and say HI!!!!. Thanks for the autographed hero card; I keep it in a place that is as visible as possible to keep you in mind each day I think about my long term goal which is to be like you. I mean you are an inspiration to alot of kids who are not exactly enthused with "other" types of sports stars, athletes and miscelaneous trivial characters out there. You are a diamond in the rough. When I first saw you on t.v. I was flattered. I could not believe there was finally an African American woman in the NHRA and you just so happened to have taken the event while I watched in enchantment. I said to myself, "....And she's pretty too!!!" I always wanted to be involved in racing since I was seven years old but I never thought that this would be acceptable due to the fact that I believed in the back of my mind that this was not part of the mission of most other African Americans and I felt that I had to fit the pattern. Not until I saw you with that trophy raised high and the excited but poised look you had on your face as you spoke to the NHRA host. I am not trying to make a racial enigma out of this post but it is kind of tough when you want to be involved in motorsports and most of the African American people that I tell I want to get involved look upon this endeavor as me not wanting to follow through with the course the majority of them have taken in life in pursuit of success. This is why you are "The Greatest Inspiration" in my life. You pursued your dream despite the odds and have conquered and conquested them no matter if you never ride again. You broke down barriers and are opening doors most others would not have dared to knock on. So in all I just want to say Thank You for alll you have done for inspiring me to not give up on my quest to be successfull in motorsports because you are my hero!!!! PEACE and LOVE....Alrich.
